About

One advisor. The whole picture.

Most families work with a brokerage for investments, an insurance agent for policies, a CPA for taxes, and an attorney for estate documents — and none of them ever talk to each other. We sit in the middle and make sure the plan actually holds together.

Our approach

We're licensed financial advisors who serve as the financial quarterback for the families we work with. We meet you where you are, build a written plan around what matters to you, and stay in touch on a calendar — not just when the market gets loud.

Who we serve

Working families building wealth, professionals in their peak earning years, and pre-retirees with the next 30 years in front of them. If you have more than one financial question — and most people do — we can help.

How we're compensated

Transparent low or no-fees on assets we manage, and disclosed commissions on insurance products. We tell you what you're paying, every time.

Broker vs. Agent

An insurance agent represents one company and can only sell that company's products. A broker is independent and works on behalf of the customer, with access to multiple carriers and a wider range of solutions.

That independence matters. Because we are not tied to a single provider, we can shop the market, compare coverage and pricing, and recommend the option that actually fits your situation — not the one we're contractually obligated to sell.

Most importantly, you do not pay our broker fees. We are compensated directly by the insurance carriers, so you get unbiased guidance and broader choice at no extra cost.

About the advisor

Kailash Chander is the founder of Black Belt Financial Security, bringing more than two decades of experience across technology and business to every client conversation. Over the course of his career, he has led initiatives in multiple industries, developing a rare ability to see how the technical, financial, and human pieces of a plan fit together.

That same discipline shows up in his approach to planning. A second-degree Black Belt in Goju Ryu Karate, Kailash believes clarity, patience, and consistent practice are the foundation of mastery — whether in the dojo or in a financial strategy. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA, and six professional certifications spanning cybersecurity and project management, giving him a structured, detail-oriented lens on complex problems.

Clients work with him because he listens first, explains in plain language, and builds plans that are meant to be lived with — not shelved until tax season.
